Calendar 2024-2025 School Year

Hours of Operation: 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
AUGUST, 2024
  • Friday, 2nd: Ice Cream Social (12:30-2:30 pm following Music & Magic camp performance)
  • Monday, 5th– Friday 9th – Staff Work Week (no childcare provided)
  • Monday, 12th: First day of Orientation Day for ALL classes (M/W/F, M-F & T/TH Classes, AM & PM) – parents and children come together & leave together following Orientation.
SEPTEMBER, 2024 – LITTLE HOOPERS & MUSIC/MOVEMENT CLASSES WILL BEGIN THIS MONTH
  • Monday, 2nd: Labor Day – School Closed
  • Friday, 6th: Family Movie Night (7:30 pm)
  • Friday, 27th: Evacuation Drills (following classes at Montecito, parents pick up at Mary Meade Park for AM pick-up). All AM & PM classes in session.
OCTOBER, 2024 – PARENT/TEACHER PHONE CONFERENCES BEGIN
  • Monday, 14th: Indigenous People’s Day – School Open
  • Thursday, 17th & Friday, 18th: Lockdown Drills (during class)
  • Thursday, 31st: Halloween Sings for all classes (MWF, T/TH and M-F classes, AM & PM) – Parents return at 10:00 am for Sings & classroom parties and leave with their children following the Sing & parties (no drop-in or back-up care offered today)
NOVEMBER, 2024 (SUNDAY 3RD DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME ENDS “FALL BACK”)
  • Monday, 11th: Veteran’s Day – School Open
  • Wednesday, 13th through Friday, 15th: Fall/Holiday Photo Sessions with PLM Productions
  • Saturday, 16th: Parents’ Night Out (PNO) 3-9 pm
  • Monday, 25th & Tuesday, 26th: Thanksgiving Assemblies (during class)
  • Wednesday, 27th – Friday, 29th: Thanksgiving Break – School Closed (no care provided)
DECEMBER, 2024
  • Friday 20th: Holiday Sing for all classes (MWF, T/TH & M-F Classes AM & PM) – Parents Return at 10:00 am for Sings and classroom parties and return home with children following the Sing and parties (no drop-in or back-up care offered today)
  • Monday, 23rd – Friday, January 3rd (return on 6th): December Break – School Closed (F/T Holiday Care offered both weeks except on Christmas Day and NY’s Day).
JANUARY, 2025
  • Monday, 6th: School Resumes
  • Wednesday, 8th: Enrollment for 2025/26 begins for new and current parents (date subject to change)
  • Thursday, 16th: Parent Ed Talk “Kindergarten Readiness” by Stephanie Agnew (via Zoom)
  • Monday, 20th: Martin Luther King, Holiday – School Closed
FEBRUARY, 2025
  • Tuesday, 12th & Wednesday, 13th: Valentines Parties (during class)
  • Thursday, 13th & Friday, 14th: Parent/Teacher Conferences – School Closed (Holiday Care offered during conferences)
  • Monday, 17th to Friday, 21st: February Break – School Closed (Holiday Care offered, including on President’s Day Monday 17th)
MARCH, 2025 (SUNDAY 9TH DAY LIGHT SAVINGS TIME BEGINS “SPRING FORWARD; COMMUNITY HELPERS MONTH)
  • Wednesday, 5th: Enrollment begins for Summer Camp 2025

  • Monday, 17th & Tuesday, 18th Easter Parties (during class)
  • Wednesday, 23rd through Friday, April 25th: Candid Photo Days with PLM Productions (date subject to change)
  • Saturday, 26th: Parents’ Night Out (PNO) 3-9 pm
MAY, 2025 (SUNDAY 11TH IS MOTHER’S DAY)
  • Thursday, 1st & Friday, 2nd: Maypole assemblies (during class)
  • Monday, 26th: Memorial Day – School Closed
  • Wednesday 28th: Field Trip to Animal Assisted Happiness (AAH) in Sunnyvale OR to Happy Hollow in San Jose. All regular classes/programs in session; date subject to change
JUNE, 2025
  • Friday, 6th: Campus Picnic for all classes (MWF, T/TH & M-F Classes AM & PM) – parents & children come together & leave together for the sing, magic show & classroom picnics/parties, Last day of School for all classes.
  • Monday, 9th – Friday, 13th: June Break – School Closed (Holiday Care offered)
  • Monday, 16th: Summer Teacher Workday – School Closed
  • Tuesday, 17th – Friday, August 1st: Summer Camp 2025 with Age appropriate preschool & elementary PT & FT camps and Drop-in and Back-up Care
JULY & AUGUST, 2025 (Friday, July 4th Independence Day Holiday – School Closed)
  • Tuesday, June 17th – Friday, August 1st: Summer Camp 2025 with Age appropriate preschool & elementary PT & FT camps and Drop-in and Back-up Care . Camp dates subject to change.
  • Monday, July 21st – Friday, August 1st: Music & Magic Camp (AM only); twos, threes, fours camps & Drop-in & Back-up Care offered throughout the summer & during M&M Camp weeks.
  • Friday, August 1st : Music & Magic Camp Performance (11:30 am) and Ice Cream Social (12:30-2:30 pm)
  • Monday, August 4th – Friday, August 8th: August Break & Teacher Work Week – School Closed (NO Holiday Care offered – subject to change)
